CFO / Operating Profit
How much of the profit the business reported actually arrived as cash. Consistently near or above 100% is a good sign; far below it means profit is sitting in unpaid bills or unsold stock.
Example
Operating profit of ₹100 cr with only ₹40 cr of operating cash means most of the "profit" has not been collected.
Worth knowing
The denominator here is operating profit (EBITDA), NOT net profit — so this is not the same as the cash-versus-PAT check.
