Cash-backed earnings (CFO vs PAT)
Checks whether reported profit (PAT) actually shows up as operating cash (CFO). If cash lags profit for years, the profit may be on paper only.
Example
₹100 cr profit but only ₹20 cr of operating cash for years is a red flag.
