Put/Call Ratio (PCR)
Open "put" (fall) bets divided by "call" (rise) bets. Above ~1 means more downside bets are open; below ~1 more upside bets. It reads two ways: on its face a high PCR shows caution, but at extremes it is often read the opposite way — a contrarian bullish tell (the crowd is over-hedged), which is how the Market Mood screen uses it.
Example
A PCR of 1.5 means 150 "price will fall" bets for every 100 "price will rise" — cautious on its face, but if unusually high, contrarians read it as a possible bounce.
Worth knowing
A crowd-mood gauge, not a prediction.
