Now
The multiple as of the most recent trading day. It is only a level — whether it is high or low is answered by the median and percentile beside it.
Example
A P/E of 23 sounds expensive until you see this company normally trades at 25 — then it is slightly cheap.
Worth knowing
Shows a dash when the company is currently loss-making. There is no P/E without profit, and an old one relabelled "now" would mislead.
